31 March. 2pm Chris Powell (UK)

Chris PowellChris Powell from the United Kingdom has established himself as one of the busiest enertainers with concerts and dances in the country. He has performed concert tours in new Zealand, Australia, Holland and Germany. He has the ability to play both Blackpool dance style or ballad music on the Wurlitzer. He has released two commercial CDs on the Karrinyup Wurlitzer organ


5 May. 2pm Tony Fenelon (Melbourne)

Tony Fenelon

TONY FENELON, OAM, LMusA is Australia's iconic and foremost concert artist and pianist. A teenage piano prodigy he won the 1962 ABC Concerto Competition. Tony displays a wide taste in music genres in concerts with a fine balance between popular tunes and light classics including music from movies, stage shows, jazz and great standards. Tony for many years was an international artist for the Roland Company

 


16 June. 2pm David Bailey (QLD)

David Bailey

David Bailey is organist for the Brisbane Gallery of Modern Art. Besides playing concerts in all Australian States he has a busy annual schedule of accomanying silent films for the Gallery. With a liking for music from the shows he is a popular performer in Australia. David will accompany two silent films "Big Business" (Laurel and Hardy) and "Seven Chances" (Buster Keaton) and play solos.

 


4 August. 2pm Ken Double (U.S.A.)

Ken Double

Ken Double is one of the most experienced theatre organists in the USA. He has underttaken 7 concert tours of Australia and New Zealand, recorded 17 CDs and been playing concerts for 32 years. Expect a smooth but rhythmic playing style that is pleasing to the ear. He is now Resident Organist at the huge Atlanta Fox Theatre.

 


29 September 2pm. John Pound (Perth)

John Pound

John Pound has developed a reputation as a first class musician on roland Atelier, Clavinova and Wurlitzer pipe organ.Having a lifelong fascination with electronic organs John worked for Park Pianos. He is now responsible for young people being introduced to the wonders of the keyboard as a piano teacher and choir accomanist at Ursula Frayne Catholic College

 


10 November. 2pm Dave Wickerham (U.S.A.)

Dave wickerhamDave Wickerham is regarded by many people as the most popular American theatre organist to have visted Australia. A huge talent with an ability to arrange and play music differently from others has seen him employed in Las Vegas and at the former Millhouse Museum in Florida. A pleasing and fun entertainer Dave has recorded numerous CDs and is a constant performer at the American Theatre Organ Society Annual Convention.
